A meal at Klithjem is not just catering. It's part of the experience. Our kitchen follows the season and draws inspiration from what surrounds us - the sea, the heath and what grows and is caught right here. The restaurant is the focal point of the hotel. It's where the day begins and ends. When guests meet and calm descends over the tables.

We don't cook to impress. We cook to delight.
Our cuisine is inspired by classic Nordic coastal cuisine, with the French classics we believe belong in a real seaside hotel. Roasted plaice with parsley sauce, baked cod with beurre blanc, veal fricassee with spring greens and small potatoes - or lobster soup.
And then there's dessert. The classic lemon mousse with meringue. Old-fashioned apple cake. Cold cream panna cotta. Desserts that taste of childhood, summer and everything you remember from the best holiday memories by the sea. Exactly as you would expect at a seaside hotel by the North Sea.
The menu changes with the week and the season. It's simple, prepared with care and without unnecessary frills.
Half board with breakfast and three servings every evening is always included in your stay.

Breakfast is always included in a stay at Klithjem - and it's worth getting up for. Every morning we serve a wide range of morning delights. Enjoy freshly brewed coffee, tea and juice, freshly baked bread, homemade jams, eggs, good cold cuts and cheeses. No hustle and bustle. Just a quiet morning with good food and good time. We think that's the best way to start the day.
Breakfast is served every day from 8-10am.

Dinner
Tasty, simple and cosy
Three courses every evening. Simple, flavoursome and always included in your stay. The menu is seasonal and changes daily, so there's always something to look forward to, whether you're here for one night or a week. Just sit down, relax and enjoy being away from home.
Dinner is served every day from 6-8pm.

Cosy and relaxed atmosphere.
Our restaurant has 48 seats. No more than that. And that's exactly what makes it cosy. The restaurant is reserved for the hotel's guests - for breakfast and dinner - so you can sit down without a reservation or formal requirements. Just good food, calm surroundings and an atmosphere that feels more like home than a restaurant.

Lunch, cake and afternoon peace by the North Sea
In the middle of the day, the kitchen opens for lunch - and the restaurant is open to everyone, whether you're staying at the beach hotel or just passing by. The menu combines the best of both worlds. Classic open sandwiches and dishes from coastal cuisine - marinated herring, fried fish fillet and West Coast fish soup - alongside French bistro classics like moules frites and Parisian steak.
Stop by for a quick bite, or slow down and linger a little longer. There's plenty of time for both.
In the afternoon we offer coffee and cake. Inside or out on the terrace with the sound of the North Sea in the background - just as it should be at a seaside hotel. Everyone is welcome here too.
